Bio: Armando B. Curameng was born on May 17, 1970 and he is from Ilocos Norte. Started as a singer in night clubs and restaurants in Ilocos Norte before moving to Manila. In Manila, he recorded albums of Ilocano songs under several major recording companies. He won the 1998 Awit Awards (is an expression of the Filipino's undying passion for music) for Best Regional Song Recording Artist and Best Composer. He migrated to Italy in 1998. He is the European President and Founder of Filipino Association of Talents in Europe which has the aim to discover new breed of Filipino talents and he is also the director and host of the Bb. Pilipinas Italy which is a pilot project of FATE and now on its 10th year. Won the most prestigious Pop Festival of Southern Italy (Cantamare) and this has brought him a contract to Papa Music & Entertainment. He became a popular singer and concert artist in Southern Italy and was featured in several national and local TV stations. Armand appeared in a telenovela at Rai Due of Italy (Terra Lontana).
He is one of the outstanding Filipino in the field of entertainment and outstanding Filipino leader featured in several programs in the popular TV stations in Philippines (ABS-CBN) like Bandila with Korina Sanchez, Balitang Europe; GMA programs like Imbestigador of Mike Enriquez, Reports of Jessica Soho, Pinoy Abroad of Rhea Santos, Mel and Joey with Joey de Leon and Walang Tulugan with German Moreno. He starred in concerts in different cities of Italy for Filipino/ Italian audiences, and in Europe like Paris, France, Norway and Switzerland. He also performed a concert together with Filipino popular artists/ actors from the Philippines like Jericho Rosales, Pokwang, Giselle Sanchez, Rachelle Ann Go, Enchong Dee and others. Armand is currently the Editor in Chief of The Filipino Star Magazine in Italy.
